"Taipei AMPA 2008" Coming Soon at the Completing Nangang Exhibition Hall Opens New Era for Auto Parts & Accessories on a Bigger Scale
AMPA (The Taipei Int'l Auto Parts & Accessories Show), the most important event of its kind in Asia, will be launched at the brand new Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall (TWTC - Nangang) between April 9th and 12th 2008. Participating manufacturers are excited at the news! The brand new TWTC-Nangang features record size exhibition space that's letting the next AMPA reached incredible scale.
With the paint drying on the new TWTC-Nangang, this structure will be the nation’s largest show hall when it opens in 2008. Consider that total floorage hits somewhere around 144 thousand sq. meters, with 7 ground floors and 2 basement floors. This dedicated structure is designed as a two-story exhibition hall, with the large spanned upper floor being completely column-free.
The upper and lower exhibitions total around 46 thousand sq. meters and holds approximately 2,400 (3m.X3m.) booths. Nangang's overall size is about twice that of Exhibition Hall 1. The TWTC-Nangang will provide manufacturers with a higher-profile and better-equipped exhibition venue with its hall height, weight-capacity, conference rooms, and parking lots.
In tandem with AMPA 2008 comes two other motoring wonders, namely AutoTronics Taipei, Motorcycle Taiwan. AutoTronics Taipei and Motorcycle Taiwan both unfold at TWTC Exhibition Hall 1.
With this triple-line-up, it is projected that 1,500 exhibitors will use more than 3,500 booths. This unsurpassed scale has drawn attention from across the industry and will create a massive influx of buyers into Taiwan.
The gross product of the automobile industry in Taiwan has been growing steadily and has become one of the most important industries in Taiwan. The auto parts & accessories industry has especially been competitive in exports among small to medium enterprises in the nation. Custom statistics show that the total export value of Taiwan's auto parts and accessories in 2007 amounted to around US$4.1 billion, a 3.8% increase compared to the previous year. Between January and June this year, the total value has exceeded US$2.3 billion, a 13.8% growth compared to last year. With a closely-knitted domestic supply chain, striving to meet with the market developmental trend, promoting product quality and value added, and proactively diversifying market distribution, Taiwan businesses are now growing to achieve even greater growth across the global market. The auto parts & accessories produced by Taiwanese have become indispensable on the global market.
